VISAS
VISITORS
- A bona fide visitor may be issued a visitor’s pass upon arrival in Kenya, valid for up to three months.
- Must have sufficient funds for subsistence and a return/onward ticket.
- East African Partner State nationals with valid passports may receive a visitor’s pass for six months.
- Visitors entering by road should use gazetted entry points and report to an Immigration Officer.
TYPES OF VISAS
Ordinary Visa:
For single or multiple entries to individuals whose nationalities require visas for entry.Transit Visa:
For periods not exceeding three days, for travelers transiting through Kenya to another destination.Diplomatic Visa:
For single or multiple entries to holders of Diplomatic passports on official duty.Courtesy/Official Visa:
Issued to holders of Official or Service passports, or ordinary passport holders where international courtesy applies.East Africa Tourist Visa:
A joint visa that allows travel between Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda for tourism purposes.
Validity: 90 days, multiple entries.
